Legacy Luncheon

Funerals are hard. They always have been and will be until the Lord returns and brings an end to our parting. However, in recent years, there has been a growing tension in families around funerals, whether to have them at all, and what a service should consist of. This luncheon is an opportunity to be proactive in this arena through developing some ideas around a basic funeral plan to assist one’s family after they have passed.

But don't worry: this gathering won’t be a somber affair even though the topic is one. For a Christian, death has lost its sting. We no longer need to approach this topic with fear, but faith that the Lord holds our life and will someday lead us home. This truth will guide our attitude toward dealing with death and the issues surrounding it.
